Frequently asked questionsCan you cover everywhere in Accra/Tema?Even though we cover most of Accra and Tema, connectivity is dependent on your location. We will be happy to come to your location and do a free line of sight to see if we can. How much does the equipment/setup cost?The equipment cost is competitive. You can save 10% if you pay all in advance. There maybe some additional installation costs if your location requires a mast. Is your Internet better than others?Most internet service providers sell you lots of bandwidth at cheap rates and never deliver. They will share you with so many other customers you are fighting for service. BusyInternet shares you with many fewer customers and always guarantees good service. That's our promise. We'll even give you bandwidth reports at the end of every month so that you can hold us to our promises. No one else will do that. What equipment do you use?We use Motorola's Canopy service which connects directly to your office or home from one of our basestations around the city. This is the latest state of the art and can allow speeds up to 10mbps, easily allowing you to grow on our network if you have videoconferencing or other heavy bandwidth needs. We pass the equipment cost on to you at cost and will offer to buy it back later if you don't use it. What if I don't like your service?If you don't like our service within the first 30 days, we'll refund all your money (minus any special installation charges like a mast). After that, you can stop our service whenever you want and we'll buy back the equipment at 50%. What is Shared vs. Assured vs. Dedicated?Bandwidth in Africa is still relatively expensive and so you must choose carefully what your business requires to operate effectively. Shared bandwidth is when you are put in a pool of other users and share it. At times of high usage, you will see signifcant service degradation. Assured means that even though you are in a shared pool, we will guarantee you a minimum throughput and a smaller pool of clients. Dedicated means that you dont' share the bandwidht wiht anyone and we will guarantee you the full amount in the contract.
